Aruba’s colorful, open-air shopping centers and main street shopping provide buyers a unique opportunity to stroll unhurriedly through numerous fashion and lifestyle options. From top of the line electronics at Boolchand’s, to exclusive jewelry brands at Gandelman jewelers, Aruba caters to all budgets with an interesting mix of offerings.

The stores of Aruba are stocked with imported merchandise and luxury items at excellent prices. British and European china, porcelain and crystal are available and customers are offered the convenience of having their purchases shipped home, (a good idea when purchasing that wedding gift) thus avoiding the hassle of carrying large boxes in these days of tighter airport security.

Aruba Trading Company and the boutiques at the Renaissance Mall carry a range of cosmetics and perfumes, some of which are available at prices less than in their country of origin! Renaissance Mall shops also offer high end fashion for men and women and top-of-the-line accessories. Youngsters can also find the perfect outfits and “gear” to hit the beach! Panache, located in the Caya Betico Croes, carry everything from body boards, swim shorts and shirts to roller blades and flip-flops. The island’s shopping area in Palm Beach, where the high rise resorts are located, offer clusters of distinctive shopping options as well. Local fashion boutiques such as Dianleri in Paseo Herencia, Dianleri on the L.G. Smith Boulevard and DCW Shoes bring a compelling selection of clothing and accessories choices to shoppers.

In addition, small and large resorts offer shoppers the convenient opportunity to purchase goods on hotel premises. Stores such as Splender boutique at the Aruba Beach Club offers guests the perfect assortment of resort wear. The latest cabana hats, trendiest swimwear, exclusive sandals and beach totes will complete the summer wardrobe of any guest. With such an attractive roster of stores new to the Palm Beach area, Aruba has definitely become a dominant shopping destination in the Caribbean! Stores on the main streets are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday  through Saturday, although some are closed for lunch between noon and 2 p.m. Shops in the malls and shopping centers are open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Some stores are open on Sundays and holidays when cruise ships are in port.
