All hotels have a doctor on-call 24 hours a day. Aruba has a first-class hospital just a few minutes from the hotel area with an emergency room staffed around the clock. Drugstores (boticas) cannot fill a prescription from a doctor overseas but can advise you how to obtain one if necessary. Many drugs which require a prescription in the United States are over-the-counter here. For emergencies, one botica in each district is open 24-hours on a rotating basis. Check with your hotel concierge or front desk.
